V-tex™

Overview | Benefits | How does it work? | Applications|General fluidics|

We have successfully installed V-tex™ in over 100 locations around the world for a variety of applications. V-tex™ has many advantages over conventional gas scrubbing technology including:

  • It can perform multi-duty tasks in a single stage - gas quenching, particulate removal and acid gas removal
  • Deals with both chemical and noxious odours
  • Is between one-third and one-fifth the size of a packed column for the same performance
  • Unlike Venturri systems V-tex™ needs no quench tower to impose a high pressure drop onto the gas stream
  • Unlike Bag Houses V-tex is very compact, quiet in operation, simple in construction and far more cost-effective
  • V-tex™ is resistant to fouling and, due to having no packing, requires virtually no maintenance
  • Can deal with gas flow rates ranging from 10m3/hr to 15,000m3/hr in a single stage, however, further stages can be added for higher gas flow rates
  • Can be supplied in a range of materials suitable to the application and nature of the off-gas being treated
  • Can deal easily with variations in gas flow rates.
